EVA SCOW is an American mandolinist and violinist from California. At age 15 she recorded for mandolin pioneer David Grisman on his album ‘Tone Poets’. She was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2006 for a Young Artist Spotlight alongside bassist Edgar Meyer. She recorded her debut album with guitarist Dusty Brough entitled ‘Sharon by the Sea’ (Adventure Music) in 2007. The album features influences from Flamenco, Jazz, and Brazilian folk music. That same year she also recorded with jazz guitarist Anthony Wilson for his album ‘Power of Nine’ (2007).
Trumpeter and Massachusetts native AARON JANIK has been steeped in the discipline of music since the age of ten. His earliest introduction to music is by way of revered New England trumpeter Jack Martin, whose expert tutelage molded Aaron into a well-rounded musician, fluent in all genres. Aaron now resides in Los Angeles, CA where he educates music students across the city and regularly performs and records with artists across the country, touring with chart-topping artists like Patti Labelle, The Gorillaz, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and the Pacific Jazz Orchestra. In the past few years he has also performed or recorded with Lady Gaga, David Foster, Snoop Dogg, Nicole Scherzinger, Lil Kim, Charlie Wilson, Patrice Rushen, JJ Lin, Jessie J, Bob Mintzer, Tom Scott, Bill Holman, and many more.
